Mr. Reg Bahadur Bhandari is currently serving at Tribhuvan University, Sanothimi Campus as a Coordinator of Open and Distance Learning program, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. He also served as Head of Department of ICT Education at the same campus more than six years. Mr. Bhandari has an experience in the academic sector and IT industries for more than two decades. He is a researcher in domain of ICT4D, ICT4E and Digital Governance, IT Governance (IT Audit, COBIT, ITIL). Mr. Bhandari is a visiting Faculty of Nepal Open University (NOU) and team Leader of NOU automation. Mr. Bhandari has experience and expertise in supervising and training on Learning Management System (LMS) from basic level education to university level education. He is certified trainer of LMS from JAMK University, Finland. He is an ICT expert of Ubiquitous Based Learning (UBL) and Ubiquitous Based Test (UBT) cloud based technology. Mr. Bhandari has supervised more 50 thesis of master and bachelor degree students' in ICT Education, Application and Information System. A part from academic alignment, he served with capacity of Board of Director at National Information Technology Center (NITC), Development Committee from Jan 2012 - Jan 2016. Similarly, Mr. Bhandari served at Rural Telecommunications Development Fund (RTDF), NTA from Jan 2008 to Jan 2012 as a fund mobilization committee member. Mr. Bhandari has involvement in following policy documents with three tier Government of Nepal. 1) IT policy Document [Province Government, Province No. 5] 2) SMART Village Working Procedure [National Planning Commission] 3) RTDF Concept Paper [Nepal Telecommunications Authority] 4) SMART Kamalamai Master Plan [Kamalamai Municipality, Sindhuli] Mr. Bhandari served as team leader/Analyst of following ICT projects: 1) Online recruitment System of Nepal Telecom 2) Applications / Web Development of Federal Parliament, GoN 3) System Analyst of Department of Civil Personnel Record, GoN 4) Electronic Building Permit System (EBPS) – Phonix Solutions 5) Project Progress Monitoring System – Phonix Solutions Mr. Bhandari, do keeps keen interest on Social work. He is serving as a secretary in the Social organization Federation of Computer Association Nepal [CAN Federation]. Mr. Bhandari has served as central Executive Member of CAN federation from 2013 to 2016 and 2017 to 2019 respectively.
